How long have you worked at Everett Custom Homes?

This August I celebrated my first year with Everett.

What made you interested in working at Everett Custom Homes?

Having worked with the family for the past 17 years, I was excited to come to work with Everett Custom Homes.  We are a big family, are all learning and building on each others strengths as the company grows.

Compared to other businesses you’ve worked for, what makes Everett different?

There is so much thought that goes into creating homes with characteristics that most homeowners find attractive and unique.  Everett builds homes for families in mind to build a lifetime of memories.

What are you most looking forward to in 2016 for Everett?

I’m excited about the new neighborhoods and new plans.  The new modern plans and finishes are a new look for Everett.  Everett is growing and I’m excited to be part of the team.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Family takes up most of my free time, we have 4 children (only one left in school).  I enjoy time with my three granddaughters, they are always in the kitchen with me cooking or baking and trying new recipes.  As a family, we enjoy the beach, camping, dirt bikes and quads and finding where our next adventure takes us.  I enjoy eating out, movies, and shopping.

Are you a Portland native? If so, where in PDX did you grow up? If not, what brought you here and what made you think of the city?

I was born in Portland but soon moved to Hillsboro where I spent all my school years.  After getting married we moved to Bend for 6 years and then back to Beaverton where we have been living for over 17 years.

Describe your perfect Portland day.

My perfect day is actually at the beach, one of our favorite spots is Hug Point, checking out the caves and tide-pools, then walking through Cannon Beach.

What tips do you have for those looking for a new home?
